Hello from Compensate's secret development lair! To fight climate change, we all have to reduce our carbon emissions. But it is not enough. Each of us must also start removing the excess CO2 from the atmosphere. This should be an easy, natural part of our everyday lives.
To make that happen, we’re very excited to introduce a new way for everyone to take action for the climate:

The app lets you calculate the size of your carbon footprint and gets you started on a new journey towards a carbon negative life. It will also give you interesting insights into your current lifestyle and what you could do to become a bit more climate friendly.
If you’re already subscribed to Compensate, the app makes it easier to update your carbon footprint calculation and compensation subscription, and gives you data on your personal climate impact.
The app is currently available in Compensate's home base Finland only. We are planning on publishing it to the rest of Europe by the end of this year.
Please note that if you’re using a Huawei device, Compensate is not yet available, as Google Play is not available for these devices. You can read more on this

Our mission is to build an app that makes taking climate action easy and impactful. The app is now out, but is still a beta. This means it’s very much a work in progress.
But we want it that way! Our aim here is to gather feedback and develop the experience with you, our community, to create the best possible climate app for the entire world.
Why the entire world? Because the climate belongs to all of us – and we should all have the opportunity to take responsibility for it. So your feedback, questions, and ideas will shape the direction and the experience of future Compensate app-users.
